I am a professionally qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist who is able to offer a new method of Hypnotherapy combined with proven Neuroscience, Solution Focused Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
My past experience in HR, Training, Coaching and Counselling has given me the opportunity to encourage and support others so that they are able to meet their own goals and aspirations.
My life changed dramatically a few years ago when someone recommended a course that they thought I was suited, and I have never looked back. This was Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy at the Clifton Practice in Bristol. I am now qualified and able to combine my existing skills with Solution Focused Therapy plus Hypnotic Relaxation.
Stress and anxiety can manifest itself in various ways; this may include panic attacks, depression, fears and phobias. Anxiety may display itself indirectly through obsessive-compulsive disorder, skin and eating disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, insomnia and many other conditions if not treated professionally.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses practical, modern and well-researched strategies to help clients make significant, positive changes to their lives in a relatively short period of time. The approach focuses on the present and future and not on the past. I work with clients to consider their preferred future, for instance, what would be better if the problem had improved? What would have changed? This enables the client’s possible solutions to become more apparent and worked towards. Hypnosis itself reduces anxiety and this is done very simply through relaxation and visualization, allowing the client to focus on the positive aspects of their lives that encourage a shift in perspective.
This type of treatment can help with Confidence and Self-Esteem problems. It can also help (if necessary in conjunction with medication) in the treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Agoraphobia and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Plus phobias such as spiders, water, flying and public speaking can also be minimized, along with painful memories and traumatic experiences.
